Well I never experienced this when I was pregnent with Hannah, but the nesting instincts have kicked in full force. It doesn't help me either that we have so little room that just making space for a little baby is a lot of work. I am trying to be creative in the girls room to create storage and utilize the vertical space so that the floor isn't all taken up, and they have room to play. I have tried to gather up a lot of the smaller toys, like all the Little People characters and art supplies, and put them in baskets up high so they aren't always scattered about.
My project now is to try to get more room in the one small closet that all five of us have to share. I am trying to find over-the-door storage solutions and buy plastic containers to put Hannah's old and future clothes into so they can be stored in the basement. It is a lot of work, and having limited money doesn't help...I think I would have most everything done if I had unlimited funds to just go out and buy everything I wanted this minute. But I must have patience...it isn't as though the baby is going to be born next week, I still have some time.
At this point Kevin and I are focusing our prayers on what our next step is to be in life. Once little Becca is born our family will be complete, and we have just been feeling as though God has something waiting around the corner for us. We have kind of put the thought of house buying to the side for the time being...as much as we would like to have a house and yard of our own and have more room we don't feel today is the day (or that this is the area we will be staying in). But like I said it is all uncertain right now so I just ask for your prayers.

Trip to Texas
I have loads of pictures to post so I'm going to write very little. We had a real nice time, and really none of us were ready to come back home. I appreciate all the hand-me-downs and things that were given to me for the new baby. Hannah loves all her new toys she was given for her birthday. It depends on the money and when the new baby arrives, but I might be coming back to Texas for a week or two after the baby is born with her and Hannah...I'll keep you posted. Here are some highlights of the trip.

Kevin At Work
One of the projects Kevin has started at work is teaching the boys archery. Thanks to the generosity of one of our local archery shop owners and several men he has met through an archery website, www.bowsite.com, he has lots of nice bows, arrows, targets, etc donated. Several of the boys have really found an interest in it and after graduation some have said they wanted to continue shooting.

Gifts in the Mail
She has been surpising me lately with her new found knowledge. She knows what a square, circle & triangle are. She doesn't know all the
numbers, but knows most in order up to 10. She has started saying, "bless you," when we sneeze. When we were driving the other day we drove up a hill and she said, "Up, up, up, up," and once we got to the top she said, "Yeah! Hold on, hold on tight!" When I stand on a chair she yells, "Careful, don't fall!"
The other day we were at the store and she heard a baby crying. She goes, "Awww, come on baby, come on," and pretends as though she was handed the baby and she pulled it close to her
chest and rocked it saying, "Awww, it's okay, it's okay, I'm sorry" and kissed it. Than she handedthe imaginary baby to me and said, "hug." So I hugged it and said "no more crying, it's okay." I handed it back to her and once she noticed she didn't hear the crying anymore she goes, "okay, there you go," and she releases the baby. I thought it was sweet she wanted to comfort the baby...I hope she is as sweet with her new brother or sister.
I haven't done another ultrasound yet. I wanted to do one today, but we were too busy. I'm a little afraid to try again because I don't want to get frustrated about it, but I am very anxious to know before I go down to Texas. So probably this coming week I'll look again. We'll see...I'll keep you all posted.

An Unexpected Blessing
I belong to a mom's group website that my friend Phyllis told me about called www.mamasource.com. It is a way to connect with other mothers and throw out questions which many will answer with their own expeiences. I asked the other day the question of beds for the baby and Hannah...I wasn't sure if I should just move Hannah into a twin or toddler bed, or if I should buy another crib. I was undecided because I think it will be hard to keep Hannah in her bed all through the night, and I do know she loves her crib. I have gotten probably 45 responses that support both sides. One lady near Reading, PA told me if I decide to get another crib that we could have hers for free because her youngest has outgrown it. I don't know much about the crib but I'm sure it is nice just based on the fact that she told me she is a stay at home mom and they will be going to Disney World for the next three weeks that they aren't hurting for money. So that will resolve that issue for me for the next year. I'm excited to go get it, and I will post pictures once I do get it but we are going to wait till after her trip and ours to Texas are over.
I was a little concerned about money and having to buy some big things for the new baby, but God does provide even when you aren't expecting Him to. Isn't that good to know.
